The year is already a month old and my plan was to publish this annual review at the end of those same 2009. But right now I do too much around the ears than I would have to comply with this planning. But I was not lazy and I, whenever I had ideas, they noted, and once again I find a little more time to be sure again of frequent Entries are related to - you, my esteemed reader needs me two or three words to delete or not euern RSS feeds. There are even better times. The proof that this is possible to show my worth colleagues Metallic Assault , after a long rest period have recently put something of yourself to hear. Best Album 2009:
Heaven & Hell - The Devil You Know
A fantastic plant with total long-term effect, I to initially did not appreciate really . A true fallacy, as it turned out to, because this album grows with run to run and never left the aftertaste of boredom - not even in months. At the time of these lines is not quite sure how to do it Ronnie James Dio and I wish him here all the very best and hope he ends the fight against cancer as soon as possible victorious! That he sure does not lack in power, because I have no doubt.
Best Concert 2009:
Sacred Steel - Carnage Rockfabrik
standing's to choose from for the throne in this category, two concerts, but after Heaven & Hell already brought out my personal album of the year, was the crown Sacred Steel who have done right in their home game so much easier. Of course - the sound was not the best and one of the support acts would also be able to save yourself, but all in all, were this evening just met all expectations and were not really low for me located. What luck that it takes not be long until it is again "Metal Reigns Supreme".

Helvetets Port - Lightning Rod Avenger
No question - this video, and no other can claim to be the best. I think every reader of my blog (yes, you, you and you back there!) my motives are aware of this.
Best Newcomer 2009:
Iron Cobra
This election is likely to anyone who knows me or my blog probably not surprising be. Quite a few I've done so far addicted to the cobra venom and more to come - especially now, finally, the Battle Word EP (BESTELLBEFEHL!) is out. My gaze wanders every day full of expectations in the letter box and when the disk is there is certainly also a review to follow. I think I lean not very far out of the window with the statement that we expect certainly great.
surprise of the year 2009:
Kiss - Sonic Boom maintain
journalistic distance on a work by Kiss is of course impossible for me, but I was surprised Sonic Boom and this in an absolutely positive sense. I certainly did not expect a bad album - but the boys are just way too professional - but I had not expected such a bang, which may well make in a row with the very old works, and maybe miss here and there to speed , but leaves sprayed every second of pure Röck'n'Röll. A wonderful album for you right and important moments in life - carefree moments with you and Kiss. Thank you for this!
hope for 2010:
Cruel Force
course it is much easier to wait until a certain moment and to mention that the aspiration for the current year. But this choice was clear in 2009. She fell in the moment when I first could not hear anything from the new album: The new recording of "Victim Of Hell Fire" was and is absolutely outrageous. She has lost in comparison to the demo version though much of their wickedness and their satanic face, but does this with pure aggression, again more than compensated. And that this piece was more than just a stroke of luck is evident in recently released "Queen Of Heresy". The more I hear this song - and I have been roughly estimated in the high double digits located belongs - the greater my desire for the 2010s look back a category of "Song of the Year" introduced. This piece would certainly be a worthy representative of this position. If this album even comes close to what promises have so far submitted in pieces, we then also once a hot contender for album of the year. As you can see - my hopes for this band are great. Give you guys trouble, so I experience no disappointment!
